After more than three decades on the airwaves, the veteran broadcaster is betting that values-driven storytelling can meet Hollywood’s production standards.

After more than three decades shaping cultural conversation on the airwaves, veteran broadcaster Larry Gaiters is setting his sights on a new horizon: Hollywood. Known for his long-form, thought-provoking work on Global Spiritual Revolution Radio, carried by New York’s AM 970 The Answer, Gaiters is moving from radio into full-scale media production. After signing with Cohen Entertainment Management and partnering with the Los Angeles firm GTK PR Agency, he now has the representation and infrastructure to take that work to a wider audience.

A Studio Built as a Mission Statement

The centerpiece of the pivot is The Global Movement Studios LLC. Based in Los Angeles, the production house was announced alongside his television project and is presented by Gaiters as far more than a business venture.

For decades, the entertainment industry has struggled to balance high-end production values with genuine, spiritually rich storytelling. Gaiters built his new studio specifically to bridge that gap, aiming to demonstrate that faith-based and socially conscious content can rival the prestige and aesthetic of major Hollywood blockbusters.

A Slate Built on Three Pillars

Moving away from the predictable tropes of traditional inspirational media, The Global Movement Studios is developing a multi-tiered slate designed to challenge, educate and inspire.

The plan runs across three lines of work: cinematic narrative films that explore faith, family values and personal responsibility through a nuanced lens; documentaries that draw on Gaiters’ investigative background to examine historical questions and prompt community dialogue; and animated projects intended to reach viewers across several generations.

Treating Wellbeing With Rigor

What Gaiters says sets the studio apart is a commitment to treating mental health and personal wellbeing with scientific rigor. That thinking sits at the center of The Global Master Class, the talk-show project announced to premiere on April 17, 2025.

Gaiters has said the program pairs him with clinical psychologists and psychiatrists — alongside attorney Rachel Darvish, who joined his AM 970 lineup — to discuss identity, trauma and recovery in plain language, using live 3D brain simulations to illustrate the physical mechanics that researchers describe. He is a member of professional bodies including The Paley Center for Media and the American Film Institute.

Scaling the Brand Beyond the Studio

The Los Angeles studio serves as the creative engine for a wider expansion. Over the next two years, Gaiters plans to carry his format into a nationally syndicated television talk show and to launch The Global Spiritual Movement Film Festival, a platform curated for independent filmmakers working in the same territory. He is also preparing a four-volume literary series, Comprehending the State of the Human Condition.

A Calendar on the Global Stage

Gaiters’ representatives list a run of high-profile appearances across 2026 and 2027. Each of the four named events is real and verifiable: the GFC Awards Gala, held April 17, 2026, at The Biltmore in Los Angeles; the Anthony Shadid Award for Journalism Ethics ceremony at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., held April 20; the 52nd G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains, France, on June 15–17; and the G20 Summit at Trump National Doral Miami, scheduled for December 14–15.

Three of those dates have now passed. None of the host organizations lists Gaiters among its announced participants or speakers, and his earlier publicity has framed attendance at comparable summits as media coverage rather than formal participation — a distinction worth keeping in view.

The Ambition

With the launch of The Global Movement Studios, Larry Gaiters is no longer only reporting on the industry from behind a microphone. He hopes to reshape the cultural landscape through his new studio, positioning himself as a media entrepreneur focused on values-driven storytelling.

Editor’s Note: Verification and Sourcing

This article was checked against primary records and public event listings. The following points were corrected or qualified in the text.

1. Career length. Publicity materials date Gaiters’ first hosting slot to 1993, which places him at roughly 33 years as of August 2026. The widely repeated “31-year career” figure comes from 2024–25 releases and has been changed to “more than three decades.”

2. The station. WNYM, branded AM 970 The Answer, is licensed to Hackensack, New Jersey, serves the New York metropolitan area and is owned by Salem Media Group. His program, Global Spiritual Revolution Radio, has been named for precision.

3. Paley Center and AFI. Source material describes Gaiters as a member of these organizations. It does not show an award, honor or endorsement from either. The original claim of “recognition” has been corrected to membership.

4. Book title. The correct title is Comprehending the State of the Human Condition. The original omitted “the.”

5. Studio timeline. Global Movement Studios LLC was announced in 2024–25, with an April 17, 2025 launch tied to the talk show. It is not a 2026 debut, and the text no longer implies one.

6. Event calendar. All four listed events exist. The GFC Awards Gala (April 17, 2026), the Shadid Award ceremony (April 20, 2026) and the G7 Summit at Évian-les-Bains (June 15–17, 2026) have already taken place; the G20 Miami summit is set for December 14–15, 2026. No participant list from any host names Gaiters, so the claim is attributed to his representatives rather than stated as fact.

7. Clinical collaboration and 3D brain simulations. These are described in Gaiters’ own publicity and could not be independently verified. They are now attributed rather than asserted.

8. Sourcing caveat. Nearly all biographical detail traces to press releases, self-published bios and outlets that carry sponsored profiles. No coverage of the studio was found in Variety, Deadline or The Hollywood Reporter. Unverifiable superlatives in the original draft have been removed.
